Country of Origin is Iran. It's a new rug in excellent condition. 2Ft. 7 in X 3 ft 10 in. Silk pile on silk foundation. Rust orange and black background floral patterned rug with a 3 panel design. The center square has a torange medallion. Adjacent on either side is a rectangle panel with an oval pattern. Multiple colors thoughout. Black repeated rosette outline border. states the weavers name as "Rahimi". ug has approximately 27 knots in a horizontal inch, and approximately 27 in a vertical inch. This makes the KPSI to be in or around 729 +/-; a very finely knotted rug by most any standards, in relation to other silk on silk Qum rugs, more dense than your average production.
